Zoë Redmond is Dublin based creative who wanted an expressive identity which reflected her mix of creative pursuits and her irish heritage.Zoë is involved in a range of disciplines, including, fashion, design, art direction and styling. The challenge for the identity and website was to create a cohesive system which could comfortably acommodate her wide range of practices whilst also keeping a strong sense of individuality which permiates her work.
You can see the website here, ︎︎︎zoeredmond.com To highlight Zoë’s strong sense of ‘Irishness’ and attachment to Dublin, we went with an Irish typeface ‘Jarlath’ a digitalised version of Jarlath Hayes’ iconic Tuam Uncial, which after almost fifty years has been brought to the digital age. A massive thank you to Signal Type for allowing us to use a beta version of this beautiful typeface (more can be read about the revival of the typeface ︎︎︎here).
